Hey hey, it’s Top Ten Tuesday! Top Ten Tuesday is run by The Broke and the Bookish, and I’ve loved making it a (semi) regular post on this blog! This week, I’m talking about my favorite books of 2017, because good lord, the year is almost over. How did that happen?? I couldn’t narrow my list down to ten books (shocker, I know), but I think I did okay. So without further ado, here are my top 17 books that I read in 2017. (They weren’t all released in 2017, but most were.)Read More »
Hey hey, it’s Top Ten Tuesday! Top Ten Tuesday is run by The Broke and the Bookish, and I’ve loved making it a regular post on this blog! This week, we’re talking about our favorite villains, which was honestly a little bit difficult for me! I read so much contemporary and romance and contemporary romance that the “villains” aren’t always established people, if that makes any sense. But no matter – I came up with ten and I’m excited to talk about them! Let’s jump right into this fun Halloween list!Read More »
Happy Hump Day – it’s Top 5 Wednesday! As a reminder, Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly roundup of cool/fun bookish things that is hosted by Sam over at Thoughts on Tomes on YouTube. You can visit the Goodreads group for topics (and such, as Sam always says). This topic was FUN. I love school, love learning things, so once I understood this topic, I was ALL IN. I don’t think I need much other prelude – I’ll just get right into it.Read More »

Oh my goodness, I was so excited to get approved for this book. I LOVED the first book in the series, Dreadnought, and just couldn’t wait to get to this one. But you know how sometimes, you put off the things that you’re excited about because you don’t want them to end? That’s what happened here. I think I was approved back in April? I don’t know, I’ve had Sovereign sitting on my Kindle for months, and I didn’t want it to end. But I’m so glad I finally read the book, because it was SO GOOD, just what I had hoped for and more.
