Top 5 Wednesday – Books to Read Without the Synopsis

Happy Hump Day – it’s Top 5 Wednesday! As a reminder, Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly roundup of cool/fun bookish things that is hosted by Sam over at Thoughts on Tomes on YouTube. You can visit the Goodreads group for topics (and such, as Sam always says). This topic was FUN, but it was also difficult for me, because I go into books almost always without reading the synopsis. It’s more fun for me that way. But these are five that I’ve read that I’d recommend skipping the synopsis, mostly because they’re sort of confusing or make the book sound complicated or don’t do the books justice at all.

Alternate title: Books to Judge By the Cover

Top 5 Books to Read Without the Synopsis

  1. No Good Deed by Goldy Moldavsky
  2. Done Dirt Cheap by Sarah Nicole Lemon
  3. The Love that Split the World by Emily Henry
  4. Last Call at the Nightshade Lounge by Paul Krueger
  5. Where’d You Go, Bernadette? by Maria Semple

What books would you recommend not reading the synopsis?

Happy reading!

-A.
